And Now For My Second Trick ...

With the new system, there are more components than the old one. And all these components need some connectivity to each other. Since Janice's work requires some rather ... shall we say "stringent" security settings for a home wireless network, the pieces that could normally be made wireless here actually cannot.

Anyway, the back of the desk (which for those of you who've never been here) is the first thing you see when you walk in the front door. It looked like a rat's nest after things were set up.

I used a solution I've known about ever since working for James Madison Mortgage down in Fairfax, VA ... Panduit Wiring Duct. It is used in network rooms for routing wiring (see below).Anyway, it looks a little more professional ... and it's a lot more cat-proof. LOL
