The Fun Begins ...

As some of you know, Janice and I have been searching for a new home for quite a while. The real estate market here has been under such a boom, there have been many (60 or so) ... ahem ... "offerings" we've looked at (yeah, that's the ticket, I guess) but really very little we have been interested in.

Well, we've found "The One" we've been waiting for. The sellers have accepted our offer, and closing is set for May 30th.

Here is the location, relative to where we work, and to where we live now. Even though it may seem we are a little farther away from work, the block and a half walk from our apartment to the parking garage is about 5 minutes. So basically, we are a "wash", time-wise.

We're quite excited. This is Janice's first house, and like I told Bro John last night - "If she's happy, then I'm happy." And she is happy. :-)

Please make plans to come for a visit, since we'll have room for company. (Just give us some time to move in. On second thought ... come help us move! (just kidding) ... LOL)

I decided not to post pics here, since with a digital camera, I am pretty dangerous. We got in on Monday for the home inspection, and this allowed me some time to take a few shots.
